manicures have gone three dimensional.

we’re always on the hunt for something new and amazing to do with our nails, and ciaté caviar manicure just about blew our mind.

i’ve always been a sucker for sprinkles on ice cream (hundreds and thousands for you aussies), and the idea of getting the same rainbow look on my nails is just too much.

a candy pink polish adorned with teeny little colourful baubles – stop it!

the caviar kit is delivered in a pretty little package containing a pink paint pot, the caviar pearls, and a helpful little tray and funnel to keep mess to a minimum.

creating your three dimensional manicure is so much simpler than it looks. you just paint on one coat of the polish, and allow to dry.

paint a second coat on and, holding your finger over the tray, sprinkle the caviar pearls over the wet polish.

once you’ve covered your nail, gently push the pearls down into the nail bed to make sure they’re nice and secure.

wait a good 15 to 20 minutes to allow the manicure to set completely. to save all those precious pearls, place the funnel into the bottle and tip the tray over to pour in the excess beads.

i adore the colour pop of the rainbow, but if you want a dark and vampy look, ciaté make the manicure in black, and also a stunning mother of pearl version.

i would recommend this for a special occasion. after a couple of days i found the pearls started to catch on things and drove me a little bonkers (don’t even bother trying to do your hair). but to really up the glam factor for a night out, this is a seriously extravagant addition to your outfit.

the ciaté caviar manicure is sold through selfridges in the uk, online here, and is coming soon to sephora in the states. for the second time, they’re selling out fast everywhere so get yourself on a waiting list quick!
