last weekend i attended a stunning wedding in gloucestershire. while i was thrilled to be asked to join the couple and their families on the very special day, i had no idea just how magical it would be.
everything from the tiny and gorgeous village church through to the immaculate flowers in the reception marquee, was simply perfect.
no detail had been overlooked and from a guest’s point of view (i have no idea what it was like behind the scenes) everything went off without a hitch.
below are some of my favourite moments from the day, which was all the more breathtaking by the obvious and deep love alex and jeremy share.
the happy couple left the church and were greeted with red and yellow scented confetti…
the beautiful bridesmaids
the wedding carriage
just married
incredible floral arrangement inside the marquee
champagne toast to the happy couple
sampling the canapes
the wedding cake made by the bride’s mother
a clever idea for hat storage
the bridesmaids flowers
inside the marquee
mr and mrs nettleton’s first dance
cutting the cake
best man’s speech props
the cheese table (something i now believe every event should have wedding or not)
a beautiful rainbow
partying well into the night
