how cute are cherries? so cute!

with summer finally returning to us this week, there was no way i was dampening the mood with dark, heavy nails. i want something fruity and fabulous to go with my summer brights.

sarah brought these cuties from sephora by opi back from the states for me recently, and i am in love. 

it took me a while to try them out as i’m always more polish-minded and like to see what designs i can create myself.  but when you are time poor and hankering for some seriously impressive nail art, they are the way to go. they don’t destroy your nails like fakeys, wiping off in one swoop with nail polish remover, and can be applied in mere minutes.

you just select a suitable size for each nail, peel back the sticky film, align on to the nail bed and smooth down. snip and then file the excess off the nail in a downward movement for a smooth edge, and finish with clear top coat.

feel free to do as i did and change the words to the frankie valli and the four seasons song to sing while you apply. falsetto optional.

these are great to have stocked in your cupboard for those occasions when you need fancy nails at a moment’s notice.
