for the past few years a group of friends and i have found ourselves in st tropez at some point during the summer. we just love it.

every time we visit we seem to have a crazy time and last weekend was no different.

although our trip was brief, it was great fun (and alcohol-filled) so i decided to share a few snaps of what we got up to during a day at nikki beach.

while our nights were spent in les caves rubbing shoulders with the likes of roberto cavalli, paris hilton, a rather flash group from venezuela, and ed hardy designer christian audigier, who splashed out on 1,000 bottles of champagne for the entire club, my favourite part of our trip was spending the day at the beach club.

the visit started off rather civilised; sunbathing, drinking gorgeous rose wine, gossiping and indulging in a spot of sushi.

but by the end it all got a little out of hand, vats of mojitos were swiftly ordered and the entire beach club gravitated towards the pool for champagne sprays, dancing and general debauchery.

at one point we were found ourselves soaked from a jet-ski that had made its way into the pool. it is the beach club’s show pony party piece and regulars don’t seem phased by presence of the watercraft in the water.

to make the day even more surreal jedward popped up at one point accompanied by tara reid but it didn’t really appear to be their scene and they made a swift, and probably wise exit.

with the music playing and our inhibitions well and truly silenced, we joined the crowds partying by the pool as the sun set over pampelonne beach.

silly? yes, but oh so much fun. if you are in the area i suggest you take a visit and let your hair down.
