the best thing about my job is that i am not tied to an office desk – i’m out and about all over london everyday. the worst thing about my job is that i’m out and about all over london everyday… come rain, hail or snow. as london dipped into sub-zero temps last week and the snowflakes started falling on friday i was dashing about, wrapped up like an eskimo.
but with london looking like a fairyland under it’s blanket of dazzling white, why not make the best of it? sarah happened to have a day off, so she came out in her fur and boots to join me in soho for a coffee catch-up and some pre-birthday presents (yay!)
afterwards we wandered out into soho square to play in the snow. we’re mature like that.
we ran around in the snow as the snowflakes fell thick and fast, threw snowballs (which resulted in red raw hands) and as we like to do, took a million photos as we did it.
she got me too, the rascal.
sarah kept warm in her leather-look zara jeans (similar here), dune boots and her mum’s vintage fur.
actual snowflakes! so beautiful.
dashing through the snow…
the artic air got a little too much, so i had to pull out my almost comically chunky scarf i got in the asos sale.
if you’re in london, you’ll know that the snow on friday was just the start – i’m currently looking out my window at a winter wonderland. hope you are keeping warm! i’m off now to go have a snowball fight with the kids in the street.
