so the blog is called peanut buttered. the reason for this – our complete and utter devotion to that delectable, gluttoness, dreamy spread. at last count there were four jars in my pantry. but we don’t just spread the old pb on toast (or eat with a spoon out of a jar) no, there are many ways we find to fit it into our lives.
chocolate peanut butter cups. better than the original reese’s in our book, a staple at any of my parties, and basically heaven in a mouthful. i follow this recipe to create morsels of moreish pleasure.
as we can’t get enough of the stuff, i up the pb measurement in the base and use less regular butter. they are a little fiddly, but rolling the base lightly in your hands into balls before pressing flat into the petit four cases with clean fingers makes them easier to assemble.
